About Us

We are a diverse Parish Community and come from all ‘walks of life’. Our overall aim is to know Christ in the Eucharist and in our every day lives, and together we want to grow in understanding of what Pope Francis means when he talks to us about becoming a Synodal Church. The ‘Francis Option’ offers an inspiring and actionable blueprint for building a better world for all humanity – a world that puts the poor and the planet at the heart of new thinking.

Pope Francis shows us that, as ordinary people accepting one another with all our differences, we can work together to discover unforeseen possibilities. As a community, we are learning that it is precisely because of our differences that the Holy Spirit will flow out from us, into our communities – and our world. He encourages us all to become a listening people – because he sees every one of us as a channel of the Holy Spirit.

We have a variety of groups in the Parish and these include: Union of Catholic Mothers, Justice and Peace, Baptism Preparation, Journey in Faith (RCIA), Children’s Liturgy, Reflective Reading, Teams of Our Lady, Coffee Mornings each Thursday and Sunday. (refer to Group Section for further details)
