Responding to allegations of abuse or concerns about children and adults at risk of harm
All concerns must be brought to the Diocesan Safeguarding Coordinator, Jacqui Drysdale, on 01642 850505 (236) or 07562935641. Alternatively, the Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency (CSSA) can be contacted on 020 79011920. Please do not delay taking action. If you are unable to contact either of these, the Holy Name of Mary Safeguarding Representative is Mary Louise Payne who can be contacted on 01642 825950 or 07962245366.
A flowchart is on the noticeboard at the back of the Church which can guide you through the process of seeking guidance.Should anyone wish to work directly in Parish activity with children or vulnerable adults, please contact either Mary Louise Payne or the Diocesan Safeguarding Team, who will arrange for your Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) application.
